Plain-English summary. By using Real Night Vision Camera, you agree to use the app for lawful, non-harmful purposes; understand that filter modes (Thermal, X-Ray, Predator, etc.) are creative effects and not measurement instruments; and accept that Pro is an Apple-managed auto-renewing subscription you can cancel anytime in iOS Settings. The app is provided "as is".

1. Acceptance

Installing or using Real Night Vision Camera ("the app") means you accept these terms. If you don't, please uninstall the app and request a refund through Apple if applicable.

2. Honest use

The app contains two distinct categories of features, clearly labelled inside the app's onboarding card and Settings:

Real sensor modes (Night Vision long-exposure, LiDAR Depth, TrueDepth IR, magnetic-field meter) read your iPhone's actual hardware sensors and are described accurately.
Creative filters (Thermal palettes, X-Ray, Predator, UV Vision, etc.) are visual shaders computed from camera brightness and edges. They look like infrared / x-ray imagery but they don't measure heat or see through walls.

You agree not to rely on the creative filters for safety-critical, professional, medical, or industrial purposes — including, but not limited to: detecting pipe leaks, electrical hot spots, hidden objects, hidden cameras, mold, animals, weapons, or surveillance equipment. Use a real thermal/IR/X-ray instrument for those tasks.

3. Privacy and your media

Photos and videos you capture stay on your device (and in your iCloud Photo Library if you have iCloud Photos turned on). The app doesn't transmit your media. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

4. Pro subscription

Some features are gated behind "Real Night Vision Pro", an auto-renewing in-app subscription managed entirely by Apple StoreKit:

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel at any time in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or via iTunes/App Store on Mac.
The Pro entitlement is shared across all devices signed in with the same Apple ID. Use Restore Purchases in app Settings if a new device doesn't pick it up automatically.
Refund eligibility and processing is governed entirely by Apple's standard refund policy at reportaproblem.apple.com. We don't process refunds directly.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer the app beyond what applicable law explicitly permits;
Bypass StoreKit / Adapty entitlement checks (e.g. via jailbreak hooks);
Use the app to violate someone else's privacy (e.g. surreptitious recording where prohibited by law);
Misrepresent the app's outputs as professional measurements;
Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

The app's name, logo, UI, code, shaders, palette designs and marketing copy are the property of Mobile Alchemy. Using the app does not transfer ownership of any of it. iOS, App Store, ARKit, AVFoundation, Face ID, LiDAR, TrueDepth and other Apple trademarks remain the property of Apple Inc. and are referenced here for descriptive purposes only — Apple does not endorse this app.

7. Third-party software

The app uses Apple's iOS frameworks (AVFoundation, ARKit, MetalKit, StoreKit, Photos, Vision) and the third-party Adapty SDK (adapty.io) for subscription receipt validation. Each is governed by its own license; Apple frameworks are governed by the Apple Developer Program License Agreement and Adapty by Adapty's terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, statutory or otherwise — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the creative filters represent any physical phenomenon, that real-sensor modes will work in every condition, or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mobile Alchemy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app — including reliance on a creative filter where a real instrument was needed.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms (typically when a new feature requires new wording — for example, adding a new sensor or a new pricing model), we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date. Material changes get called out in the App Store "What's New" notes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Mobile Alchemy is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes related to the App Store and your subscription are governed by Apple's Standard EULA at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
